
Kevin McCorkle is an American actor, producer, educator and Union advocate whose career spans over four decades across film, television, theatre, commercial and VoiceOver work. Born in Long Beach, California, McCorkle began his professional acting journey in 1982 with a role in the feature film SIX PACK, where he worked alongside Terry Kiser. That early break earned him his SAG card and launched what would become a dynamic and sustained career in entertainment. In 1983, McCorkle moved to New York City to pursue opportunities in Film, TV commercials and daytime television. His work included classic commercials and a memorable arc on AS THE WORLD TURNS, playing a rebellious bad boy motorcyclist opposite Marisa Tomei. He eventually moved to Loa Angeles in 1985, where he began building a foundation in national commercial work that would include over 300 appearances for dozens of major brands. He became a familiar face to audiences through campaigns for Bob Evans as a long running spokesperson, NIKE and American Express portraying Tiger Woods' television caddy. McCorkle's film career includes roles in high profile Studio Productions such as THE ISLAND (2005), BOBBY (2006), and THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN (2012), where he played skate board denier Mr. Cramer. On television, he has appeared in dozens of popular series, including 24, Cold Case, CSI:Miami, Mistresses, NCIS and NCIS:Los Angeles, and The Rookie. Across nearly 70 film roles and appearances in over 100 episodes of television, McCorkle has earned a reputation for his grounded presence, tenacious work ethic, character versatility, and professionalism on set. His work in theatre is equally respected. McCorkle has taken on leading roles in acclaimed Los Angeles Productions such as Westin Tate in Sam Shepard's CURSE OFF THE STARVING CLASS at the Open Fist Theatre, Abbot in UNTETHERED performed at the Mountain View Mausoleum, and Tal in SOVEREIGN BODY at The Road Theatre. His favorite theatre role to date is Willy Loman in DEATH OF A SALESMAN in a limited run at The Secret Rose Theatre co-produced with his wife and production partner Lisa Campbell-McCorkle through their company FREE LUNCH PRODUCTIONS INC. A student of the craft he has trained and continues to train with some of the most revered acting teachers in the industry, including Eric Morris, Peggy Feury, Bill Traylor and Kate McGregor-Stewart. McCorkle is also a passionate Union leader. A SAG/SAG-AFTRA member since 1982, he currently serves on the Los Angeles Local Board, an alternate for the SAG-AFTRA National Board and as co-Chair of the LA SAG-Aftra Conservatory. He advocates for member-driven content creation, affordable health care, fairness and equity in casting and broader access to union resources for performers at all career levels. He has been married to the aforementioned Lisa Campbell-McCorkle since August 4, 2002, and they have two children, one of whom has followed in his footsteps into SAG-AFTRA membership. McCorkle continues to live and work in Los Angeles, where he remains active on screen, on stage and in service in the artistic and labor communities that have shaped his enduring career.
