The Beast Within
Plagued by nightmares and visitations from his father's evil spirit, Derek fears that the portal to hell has been breached. The episode begins with Derek having nightmares of his father and evil spirits, (flashback from the Pilot episode). When he awakens he goes to the library, where all of the books and files are spread all over the room, alot of them are ripped. Derek notices a specific scripture has been destroyed, which leads him to believe that the gate of hell has been breached, which is located under the Legacy House. Derek, Nick and Alex make their under the house to investigate, but everything seems fine. However, Derek is still cautious and takes precautions, he wants Nick to get as much C4 explosives as he can find. Throughout the rest of the day, Derek keeps on having visions about his eveil father.

See all on TMDBI'd say it was unique, but Friday the 13th had an equally good series like this based around an antique shop. And, of course, it is like the X-Files and Warehouse 13 and Mellinum...but there are reasons that shows like this are made and develop a cult following. They are almost always really good. I think the draw back to the show is that it has the title "Poltergeist" and like "Friday the 13th…
