Vampire Diaries
Die Highschool-Schülerin Elena Gilbert hat ihre Eltern bei einem Autounfall verloren. Ihre Tante Jenna Sommers, die jüngere Schwester der Mutter, ist nach Mystic Falls gekommen, um sich um sie und ihren jüngeren Bruder Jeremy zu kümmern. Als der neue Mitschüler Stefan Salvatore auf der Bildfläche erscheint, weckt er sofort Elenas Interesse. Sie ahnt nicht, dass es sich bei Stefan um einen bereits jahrhundertealten Vampir handelt. Als dann noch Stefans älterer Bruder Damon auftaucht, der von Elena ebenfalls angezogen ist, überschlagen sich die Ereignisse. Stefan wird misstrauisch, denn er weiß, dass Damon nichts Gutes im Sinn hat. Elena wird in eine Welt hineingeworfen, von deren Existenz sie bislang nichts geahnt hat.

Toss out everything you've learned about the traditional vampire. I scoffed and couldn't finish episode two. The overly loud terrible music soundtrack gave me a headache. The "evil" brother was the only thing that kept me watching episode two but I couldn't take the music anymore.
Man, it’s been hell of a ride. I got emotionally attached to this series. I cried with these characters. I laughed with them. I don’t know why other people hate it but I loved it. Sure it got a little bit boring when you got closer to the ending but it’s worth a shot. Overall I’ll give this 8.5/10.
