Interview with the Vampire
Die Serie basiert auf dem Kultroman von Anne Rice und folgt der epischen Geschichte von Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) über Liebe, Blut und die Gefahren der Unsterblichkeit, die er dem Journalisten Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian) erzählt. Louis, der sich an den Beschränkungen des Lebens als Schwarzer im New Orleans des frühen 19. Jahrhunderts reibt, kann dem Angebot des verwegenen Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid) nicht widerstehen, der ihm die ultimative Fluchtmöglichkeit bietet: die Aufnahme in seine Vampirgemeinschaft. Doch Louis’ berauschende neue Kräfte haben einen gewalttätigen Preis, und die Einführung von Lestats neuestem Sprössling, dem Kindervampir Claudia (Bailey Bass), bringt die beiden bald auf einen jahrzehntelangen Pfad der Rache und Sühne.
