Pedro López Lagar (1899-1977) was a renowned Spanish theater and film actor. In 1936, he was on tour when the Spanish Civil War broke out. He and his coworkers found refuge in Argentina, where he was naturalized. There he lived the rest of his life and made almost his entire cinematographic career (including his debut).
