Takis Christoforidis (Istanbul 1914-Athens 1973) was a Greek actor and cousin of fellow actor Pericles Christoforidis. He played mainly secondary comic roles and became known through the role of the nervous or the mad doctor, who had a tic. Actor (member of the Greek National Theatre Association since 1937) scion of the well-known Christoforidis theatrical family. At the beginning of his career he collaborated with prose troupes and with the National Theatre (1936-41). Thus, in the period 1939-40 he appeared in the operetta "Bat" staged by the Foundation's Opera Stage. Until 1945 he was at the "State Theatre of Thessaloniki" and then followed P. Kyriakos on his tour of Cyprus (1945-48). He played at D. Rontiris' "Hellenic Stage" and the "Vembo" Theatre (1951-54). Since then he began to appear in characteristic roles with the main revue and comedy troupes. He collaborated particularly with K. Hadjichristos and took part, among others, in the K. Stoligkas - M.
