A Masterpiece by Midnight
踏入1960年代﹐纵使Louis Armstrong有Hello Dolly﹐而Stan Getz也有Bossa Nova音乐﹐年青人开始喜欢上Rock n Roll 。Miles Davis 面对不能抗拒的Rock n Roll音乐热潮﹐决定把摇滚音乐元素加进爵士乐当中。随着乐手把多种音乐元素混和一起﹐一种新音乐 Fusion 应运而生。踏入70年代﹐Louis Armstrong 与Duke Ellington 相继去世﹐也就代表着辉煌爵士乐年代的终结。Dexter Gordon 由欧洲返国演出﹐证明尚有小部份爵士主流的追随者﹐爵士乐的发展虽然明显减慢﹐但是它仍然生存﹑改变与及摆动….
