The Wire
Baltimore sokaklarında geçen dizi; uyuşturucu ticareti, liman işçileri, siyaset, eğitim sistemi ve medyanın iç içe geçtiği katmanlı bir şehir portresi çizer. David Simon imzalı dizi, klasik bir polisiye gibi başlar ancak zamanla adalet, kurumlar ve bireyin sistem içindeki yerini sorgulayan gerçekçi bir toplumsal eleştiriye dönüşür. Her sezon farklı bir kuruma odaklanarak, "iyi" ile "kötü" arasındaki çizginin ne kadar bulanık olabileceğini gösterir.
