Молодой боксёр Марко Хан — так называемый копино, корейско-филиппинских кровей — всю жизнь прожил на Филиппинах и никогда не видел отца-корейца. Его мать тяжело больна, поэтому, пытаясь накопить на лечение, парень хватается за любые возможности заработка и разыскивает корейских родственников. Однажды на него выходят адвокаты, утверждающие, что его богатый папа наконец-то нашёл потерянную кровиночку и жаждет встречи. Марко летит в Корею, но уже в самолёте парня начинает запугивать странный тип, называющий себя его другом.

The Childe offers up yet another action crime thriller gem, from South Korea. There's a darkly devilish quality to the back story, that's married up with brutal, fast paced action and a dysfunctional humour that, placed in this context, is inappropriately, appropriate. In summary, fast paced, engaging, with a wickedly dark back story and humour, that simply works. A must watch.
