Joseph Vissarionovich Dzugashvili (conhecido como Stalin) foi um ditador e líder político soviético que governou a União Soviética de 1924 até sua morte. Após a morte de Lênin, ele eliminou seus rivais, como Trótski, e implementou o Stalinismo, caracterizado por industrialização forçada, coletivização agrícola e terror político. Seu regime de culto à personalidade e o Grande Expurgo foram responsáveis pela morte de milhões de pessoas e moldaram o século XX.
