Devido à sua deficiência auditiva, Sugihara Kohei é frequentemente incompreendido e tem dificuldade em se integrar à vida no campus; por isso, ele mantém distância. Tudo isso muda quando ele conhece o extrovertido e alegre Sagawa Taichi. Taichi consola Kohei e garante que a perda auditiva não é culpa dele.
