ノー・アザー・ランド 故郷は他にない
破壊される故郷を撮影するパレスチナ人青年と、彼の活動を支えるイスラエル人青年の友情を、2023年10月までの4年間にわたり記録したドキュメンタリー。 ヨルダン川西岸のパレスチナ人居住地区マサーフェル・ヤッタで生まれ育ったバーセル・アドラーは、イスラエル軍による占領が進む故郷の様子を幼い頃からカメラに収め、世界へ向けて発信してきた。そんな彼のもとに、自国政府の非人道的な行為に心を痛めるイスラエル人ジャーナリストのユバル・アブラハームが訪ねてくる。同じ思いで行動をともにし、パレスチナ人とイスラエル人という立場を越えて対話を重ねるなかで、2人の間には友情が芽生えはじめる。しかしその間にも軍の破壊行為は過激さを増し、彼らが撮影する映像にも痛ましい犠牲者の姿が増えていく。

A heartwarming portrait in hell. I feel as though this is a cool war movie with likeable characters constructing sweet shelters and surviving in horrible conditions. The unfortunate reality is overwhelming.
