Ma è un Signore del tempo, ha più di 900 anni, è un alieno con due cuori e fa parte di una civiltà che possiede la tecnologia per viaggiare nel tempo. Il Dottore salva i pianeti per vivere, o meglio per hobby, ed è molto bravo in questo: salva pianeti e civiltà dal male dall'inizio del tempo. Ma chi sa chi è veramente?

Doctor Who is, in one sense, a metaphor for whats happened to this show. What was once an entertaining and sometimes thought provoking sci fi series, has been infected with a thread of political correctness, that's at times brittle, dour, lecturing and ultimately rather tiresome.
