La vera storia del Lance Corporal Leslie Martz, un Marine degli Stati Uniti stazionato a Haditha, in Iraq. Martz fu il leader di una squadra formata da donne con il compito di ottenere la fiducia delle donne afgane e di fornirle le abilità necessarie per essere indipendenti e per estrarre segretamente informazioni dai mariti talebani. La Martz nascose di essere una lesbica nell'esercito ed era divisa dal desiderio di provare il suo valore ai suoi superiori e dall'alleanza con le donne e i bambini conosciuti sul luogo.

My favorite actor is the wax doll that vaguely resembles a younger Nicole Kidman. It's amazing what they can do with animatronics these days. Even though they clearly have very little mechanics to mimic human facial expressions, at times, it almost appears human! BTW, this rating is for season one. It's quite good. I just started season two, and I'm abandoning it before the end of episode one. …
