Dodici sconosciuti si svegliano in una radura. Non sanno dove sono o come sono arrivati fin lì. Non sanno di essere stati scelti per uno scopo ben preciso: la caccia umana per sport da parte di un gruppo di privilegiati. Crystal, una dei cacciati, conosce però meglio dei cacciatori le regole del gioco, ribaltando ogni previsione e avendo la meglio avvicinando verso la misteriosa donna al centro di tutto.
