The Teacher
Un insegnante palestinese, Basem El-Saleh, si ritrova a vivere una situazione tragica dopo la morte del figlio e la conseguente fine del suo matrimonio. L'uomo finisce coinvolto nella vita di due suoi studenti, i fratelli Adam e Yacoub, il primo tanto studioso quanto il secondo ribelle. Quando la casa dei due ragazzi viene rasa al suolo, Basem rappresenterà per loro un valido sostegno, anche grazie all'aiuto di un'assistente sociale britannica. Nel frattempo un diplomatico americano e sua moglie sono alle prese con il rapimento del figlio, un soldato tenuto in ostaggio per tre anni da un gruppo di resistenza palestinese.
