Kirk Lee Hammett est un musicien américain qui est le guitariste principal et un auteur-compositeur contributeur du groupe de heavy metal Metallica depuis 1983. Avant de rejoindre Metallica, il a formé et nommé le groupe Exodus. En 2003, Hammett a été classé 11e sur la liste Rolling Stone des 100 plus grands guitaristes de tous les temps.
