King's face
Ce drama raconte l'épopée du prince Gwang Hae qui utilisait sa capacité à lire à travers les visages comme arme afin de surmonter sa destinée et devenir le roi. Né en tant qu'enfant de concubine, Gwang Hae a été proclamé héritier du trône. Ce dernier a souffert de menaces de détrônement et d'assassinat durant 16 ans du fait de ses origines. La femme aimée par Gwang Hae et par son père, le roi Seon Jo, ne lui reconnaît pourtant aucune aptitude pour accéder au trône. C'est en usant de sa capacité à lire à travers les visages que Gwang Hae parviendra à gouverner le royaume de Joseon.
