La nouvelle ère
Ubbe et ses compagnons retrouvent Floki dans le Nouveau Monde. Il y vit en ermite, en paix avec les indiens. La bataille s'engage entre les troupes du Roi Alfred et celles d'Ivar. Odin abandonne les vikings. Alfred est victorieux. Hvitserk, prisonnier, se fait alors baptiser. A Kattegat, Ingrid apprend la défaite d'Ivar et est proclamée reine.
