Samira Cox is a Bus Stop Films Employment Ambassador. Involved since 2023, she was part of the inaugural PLACES Program and has completed exciting placements including a 'Heartbreak High' post-production internship and a Deaf inclusion panel at the 2025 Driving Change Summit. Holding a Diploma in Screen and Media, Cox is passionate about every aspect of filmmaking—particularly stories celebrating disability and resilience. Her proudest achievement is co-writing and co-directing 'My Melbourne', now streaming on SBS On Demand and featured in international film festivals. Living with Usher syndrome, Cox proves daily that disability is no barrier to dreams.
