Katerina Kouka

Katerina Kouka (Greek: Κατερίνα Κούκα, born December 22, 1960, in Irakleia, Serres) is a Greek *laiko* (popular folk) singer. Her family roots are in Vamvakofyto, Serres. She began her singing career at the age of 27 at the *boîte* (intimate music venue) "Empati." There, Giorgos Marinos discovered her and proposed a collaboration at the "Medousa" music venue.
