La jefa de policía de Long Island rescata a una niña que encuentra cerca del lugar en el que se ha producido un terrible accidente. Pronto descubre que la pequeña no tiene recuerdos de qué ha sucedido o de quién. El misterio comienza a incrementarse cuando, al intentar investigar sobre su pasado, comienzan a suceder una serie de extraños acontecimientos que parecen estar relacionados con la niña.
