Wayne, un joven rebelde de 16 años, pone rumbo en una pequeña moto hacia Florida para recuperar el Pontiac Trans-Am que robaron a su padre antes de morir. Hace el viaje con su nueva crush Del, una adolescente con quien congenia a la perfección ya que tienen la misma forma de resolver problemas: a base de palizas y bateos limpios.
