Jimmy Smits ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler. Bekannt wurde er vor allem durch seine Rollen als Anwalt Victor Sifuentes in der Anwaltsserie „L.A. Law“ (1980er Jahre), als NYPD-Detective Bobby Simone in der Polizeiserie „NYPD Blue“ (1990er Jahre) und als US-Kongressabgeordneter Matt Santos in „The West Wing“.
