Michael James (geboren am 29. Oktober 1935), bekannt unter seinem Künstlernamen Michael Jayston, war ein englischer Schauspieler. Er verkörperte Nikolaus II. von Russland in dem Film „Nikolaus und Alexandra“ (1971). Darüber hinaus wirkte er in zahlreichen Fernsehproduktionen mit, unter anderem als Valeyard in allen vierzehn Folgen der „Doctor Who“-Folge „Der Prozess eines Zeitreisenden“ (1986) und als Raquels Vater James in der „Only Fools and Horses“-Folge „Zeit in unseren Händen“ (1996).
