SAS Rogue Heroes
In der englischsprachigen Welt hat die Abkürzung SAS einen guten Klang: Hinter diesen drei Buchstaben verbirgt sich der ‚Special Air Service‘ – Elite-Kommando-Einheiten, die immer dorthin entsandt werden, wo es brennt. Im Zweiten Weltkrieg wurde die Einheit 1941 als Fallschirmjäger-Kommando gegründet. Teil der Aufgabe der Soldaten war es auch, bei ihren Absprüngen hinter feindlichen Linien den Kriegsgegnern in Deutschland und Italien vorzugaukeln, dass sich hinter dieser Einheit eine deutlich größere Truppe verberge. Für dieses Kommando mit zunächst knapp 60 Soldaten brauchte es mutige Männer, die nicht nur bereit waren, dem Tod ins Auge zu blicken, sondern dabei noch das äußerste aus sich und ihrem Körper herauszuholen.

This is a great fictionlized account of the SAS. It is cheeky and prideful concepts that are needed again. Back when the empire was proud to fly the Union Jack without fear of prison for patriotism and free speech. Men were men, women were women, and wester civiliation demonstrably reigned supreme.
