Jewel in the Crown
Die Geschichte spielt während der Regierungszeit von König Sukjong aus der Joseon-Dynastie und dreht sich um Dong Yi, eine Wassermagd. Sie gewinnt zunächst das Vertrauen von Königin Inhyeon und später die Gunst des Königs, nachdem dieser von ihren Gebeten für die Gesundheit der Königin – gesprochen inmitten der durch Jang Hee Bin ausgelösten Hofintrigen – tief berührt ist. Dong Yi steigt zur Konkubine mit dem Rang einer „Sook-bin“ auf und bringt einen Sohn zur Welt, der später als Yeongjo der 21. König von Joseon werden soll.

One of the BEST tv shows i have ever seen. I rank it with "Jewel in the Palace" and "Yi San, and "Queen Seondeok" I have seen this drama at least 3 times and watch till i drop then resume when i wake up. I give this drama a 10!
