Es - Welcome to Derry
Derry, im Jahr 1962: Die Familie Hanlon zieht in die scheinbar idyllische Kleinstadt im US-Bundesstaat Maine, um ein neues Leben zu beginnen. Während die Eltern versuchen, sich mitsamt ihrem kleinen Sohn einzuleben, häufen sich bald beunruhigende Vorfälle: Immer wieder verschwinden kleine Kinder spurlos, und seltsame Erscheinungen versetzen die Bewohner in Angst. Unterdessen schließen ein paar Jugendliche eine schicksalhafte Freundschaft und entdecken gemeinsam ein uraltes Grauen, das tief unter der Stadt lauert. Sie geraten in einen Strudel aus dunklen Geheimnissen – bis sich die unfassbare Bedrohung allmählich in einer unheimlichen Clownsgestalt verdichtet.
